Join us for a presentation by Ms. Boba, founder of FujoCoded.

FujoCoded teaches the fanworks community web, programming, and git fundamentals, as well as helping them build useful tools using these technologies.

Now, they’re using AT Protocol to help the community get excited about decentralized social protocols, learn their inner workings, and join the conversation on what the social web of the future should look like.

The FujoCoded projects include several fun labelers, a more complex community powered labeler with Discord integration, and various community-sourced contributions to the lexicon.community initiative.

About Ms. Boba

The bulk of Ms. Boba's work revolves around online social spaces and niche online subcultures, as well as technical education and evangelism aimed at empowering people who spend a lot of time on the internet. She is driven not only by a deep love for the internet but by a firm belief: the only way to build a better, kinder web is to empower its inhabitants in becoming active participants in its creation —and by having fun in the process!

"Got radicalized by the Tumblr porn ban". Or, in better words, realized the internet was getting really, really sucky and decided I should help do something about it.

Ms. Boba @essentialrandom.bsky.social is a former FAANG Staff Engineer combining practical founder experience with Silicon Valley strategy expertise for scaling startups. She is passionate about bridging the gap between business, community-building, and engineering—helping teams grow sustainable products by balancing their business and technical goals with those of their users.

The three published projects today include:

Fujin Animal Labeler: A simple labeler that asks a simple question: what type of Fujin animal are you?
AO3 Labeler: A labeler that allows folks to select their own AO3 rating (for funsies!). Supports sets of single and multiple labels.
Fanworks Labeler: A more complex labeler that allows for community-powered labeling and feeds, with Discord integration.
